i want to order this as well as new sprokets for my x18 when i order it from holeshotz. ive never owned a midbike but ive ridden some and people say there harder to maintain than a full size. so what will i have to do to change the carb and sprokets. how do i change them. will it need fab work or is it just bolt on bolt off.also which sproket ratio is best for better top end and acceleration.crazy_smilie

I have the 26 taper bore carb and a 28 rear sprocket and Im running about 65 mph with a modded exhaust. I gained about 10-15 mph off a carb and sprockets. They are bolt on and depending on if you get a rear sprocket or a counter sprocket youll have to either take the wheel off or two screws off the engine to get to either of the sprockets.

and bolt on the manifold (2 screws) very easy. But you also have to tune it.

dude your gonna have a hard time i think, but its fun to learn and see the result
dont even worry about getting parts for it yet
something will break soon enough, start with that
i did have to replace my carb first, it ran a drop of water through and was never right after that
ask lots of questions about stuff and dont believe everything you hear see and read

ill still get the carb. ill leave it in my garage and if i dont like the performance ill upgrade. but thatll be after a month or so or when my friend gets the x15 and it suprisingly is running better than my x18

OMG THE BIKES RAN ON GAS?!?!?!?!?!? I THOUGHT THEY WERE ELECTRIC!!!!!!!!! Nah but if i let the gas sit in the tank for a while like thru the winter would it not flow evenly? or should i start it up now and then thru the winter. on youtube this guy showed that if u drop the bike on its back tire like 4 times and kickstart itll start automatically. he said that removes all excess fluids from the lines or some sht

just emty out the gas if it will sit for a long time if not just start it every now and then, so you wont clog the carb!! or just take out the gas!!

u know what i wanna do. get a trashed muffler, and put a silencer, like a car has on the tip. cut the can like 1 inch down from the tip and put it on. that would sound so nice

To answer some of your questions, if you are wanting to buy sprockets I would recommend waiting until we have our Sprocket Specialists sprockets in stock which should be sometime in the next week or so. They are made out of high grade T7075 billet aluminum and are top notch, I will even go out there and say they will be better then any other sprocket currently on the market for these bikes. They will bolt right up to your bike no problem and we can even cut the chain to the proper length for you. If you are planning on upgrading the carb along with other mods down the road, get the 15/33 combo.
As far as the carb goes, they come pre jetted to run decently with the 110 motor so most likely you will only need to make adjustments to the needle jet, air/fuel mix and idle. I can walk you through it on the phone if needed.
If you have any other questions, just give us a call tomorrow 866-398-8108thumbsup2

So when you get a new carb do you have to port it... Or can you just put it on and call it good to go?
Blitz$M.Inc.$

you dont port a carb
when you put it on you might have to tune it, like adjust settings so it runs the best
