short stroke motor

well since my goped got stolen in florida along time ago i had to replace it with something
so with no limit being my option i bought a second x18
since the bore and stroke of this motor is 49x52 could be wrong cant remember correctly now
this motor might be good as a short stroked engine build
adding the 54mm piston makes it into from 107cc to 114 what if a little bit of boreing to the cylinder and cases do?
No clue...
anyhow since my bike in florida is used as a form of transportation stock mods i have done to it seem to make a difference and i like the results but not it reguires more power

im thinking kurlon will be able to help me the most for the engine specs and w can fit..if anything more then a 54mm piston maybe a 56 or 57 would help

oh the current mods i have is a
ported E22 head
matched the stock intake to the head
ported
lightend flywheel
modded stock filter
modded stock exhuast
8mm wireing for use of a car

and for apperance it has ben dropped in the front
blue headlights conversion
and thats all

like i stated before this bike is in florida so i dont do alote of attention for ti so this WILL be a looooong term build for the performance im looking for

a piston that big wont fit between the 4 motor studs in the 50 block
maybe you could put a stock 50 crank with the 54mm piston
that would give you a short stroke motor that would rev very high
all the 600cc sportbikes have a bore and stroke of 67x42.5
thats why they rev real high
the closest we can get is the 150 gpx with the 187 kit to achieve a 67x53

or a square motor, which is what i got now its 57x57, is ok at revs and torque
strokers dont rev high
bored motors arent that great till they are at a higher rpm

well ninja the higher the stroke and piston and such eguals more torgue less rpms

lower the stroke but either the same or higher piston eguals less torgue but more rpms

ya but the 150 gpx has a 53 stroke so it can potentially rev higher than a 57 stroke motor, your is just built so duh lol
our motors are worth more than a 150 is new and should have a bit more hp
after you mod the 150 tho...weeeeeeeeee

well the 19 hp one thats on youtube only revs to 11 k rpm or so
nice hp but seriously only seems nice with torgue

cool, i got about everything cept a irk and i think ill keep my flywheel for the time being
i could get my head ported better with bigger valves but i think im gonna chill with the 146 as it is, its very fast now, and save for the 150/turbo

i still need oversized valves VM26 carb and rear shock..and new tires then im set

will you be at sandy hook april 5th?No i won't make that one.I won't be able to start racing until june sometime.But i told Doug that i will make it up there to do some racing up there with them either at the spot they run @ or @ the next event.Besides i'm still working on my bike with what little time is available to me.

did some polishing on the bike today
next time i come to florida im takeing out this motor and going over EACH area for a full polish work on it should look really trick if my GPX flywheel cover came out good
also painted the clutch inerd cover black and the small 4 bolt on peice on the flywheel black
the bike will be painted either black or blue need ideas on that
