Hey guys ahh I was trying to get in but my system was refreshing faster than I could type and post? What am I doing wrong? I you look I got in a f-up something but that just made it?dunno

Weird!! it wasn't doing this before when Blitz and I were chatting. I wonder if too many users overloads the available server bandwidth. We need Midbike Racer to look in to this.

OK. I looked in the admin and it was set to refresh every 5 seconds.
I changed it to 20.
Let me know how this works and if it needs to be modified again, just let me know.

I think 20 seconds might not be enough time between refreshing.
I also want to look into if there is a way to have it show who is in the chat room so when we are in there we don't need to ask... "Is anyone in here?"

Yeah 20 seconds is still to short. I tried typing a whole sentence and the faster I typed the more mistakes I made. Also if we could have a, I don't know a green light next to the chatbox icon to let us know when someone is in there?

It has been set at 60 seconds.
NP, I agree with you in regards to some type of display so we know there are members in there.
I am looking for a mod online to do that but as of now, there is none in the admin.

Maybe ask vBulletin support. If they don't have it they may create it for you.

Well, the scheduled chat last night was a little light.
mishka, King & I chatted a little.

Stealth mentioned getting an AIM chatroom and adding a link on the site.
I am not familiar with AIM.
Would this be a better option?

BTW, I added more time to the refresh button.
It refreshes every 90 seconds.

Any suggestions for a chat next week?
