Just wanted to say "hi y'all" from the Devil's Kitchen, Phoenix, AZ.
Gettin' really antsy about gettin' my X18..........can't wait!
Might be getting some decent work again so hopefully I'll have some play money coming my way pretty soon!
Anyone around the Phoenix area ever go to the Scottsdale Pavallions on Saturdays? L8R

Welcome!
Where is devils kitchen?
I live in the Phoenix area... Peoria.
One of these days we need to get a bunch of us local midbike owners together for some riding.

The claim to Phoenix is that it is as hot as or hotter than hell. Those that have visited here in the peak of summer have often said that they've been to hell and back, thus referring to it as the pimp1devil's kitchenpimp1

Dude try Georgia in the dead (Pun intended) of summer. Takes about 2 minutes. You walk outside and the rest of the day you walk around wearing wet dish rags (humidity) and you smell like a foot. The real bad days you smell like foot and @$$hangloose. Welcome Alpatriot. Yes I've been to the kitchen and stand in the sun to long and your skin peels off.

Went to Scottsdale Pavilions a couple of weeks ago and sadly, there weren't any mids. I did see one guy with some sort of homemade scooter and whatever it was he did with his motor at least got my interest but nothing to really get excited about.
It would be really nice to get a group of guys out to this place but I'll admit, with about 60 or so bikes all lined up there, a guy can feel just a wee bit out of place trolling a mid through there, but you know, a bike is a bike no matter the size and making one from the ground up is even that much better.
Considering I don't know what the heck I'm doing cause I never worked on a cycle before, finishing this bike, making it run, and being able to show it will be the most rewarding accomplishment.
