Not new news, but i haven't seen anyone here chat about them, so i'll post the info here.
KTM has 2 concept bike models, both 125cc 4-stroke, 4-valve, dual cam, water cooled, fuel injected little monster (although its size seems to be a little larger than most 125cc dirtbikes) brembo 4pist cals, and puts out about 15hp.
There is also a stunt/street version, which features a headlight, 12 bar, a 'step plate' and a little different body style, and the exhaust runs under the motor as opposed to under the tail.
No production plans have been set, but man these things would be fun carving around some kart tracks.
(although in my opionion, you could pretty much make a bike like this out of any jap 125, just most of the work with these has been done for you, and looks alot cooler, and i think it needs a belly pan for some track req's, and a nose windscreen to tuck under.)

Any idea on price? Your not going to get a frame like that from some jap bike.

oh these were just concept bikes, and no prices have been set (or even if they are going into production) and i'm sure if they were made, it would be euro and asia only. (last thing the us needs are teens running around the streets on these things)

yea true, but anything that has KTM on it, is true power, and has crazy torque with it. I used to have a KTM 250cc SX, I think is the right term at the end, but that thing was soooo big, i couldnt even put my foot down when I went for turn, and I can get my foot down on my kx450, so I don't understand. But back to the point, anything from KTM is totally worth the money spent.

I definitily agree with you, a good quote would fit this very well "quality comes at a price"

I do like the KTM though but............
I'd prefer the GRC Midbike over all. The GRC was nothing more than a track bike period.

yeah, i agree with ya blitz and swheels, they are nice bikes, but i would much rather have a metra or one of the other more dedicated trackers. Its just cool that the mini racing scene may be getting a different option for racers to choose from, although i'm sure if they were produced, the aftermarket and customization of them would be low, unless you went all out and lowered it a bit, moved the seat back and stuck some clip-ons on it, the egro's just look still like a dirtbike. but for the street/stunt version, that is nearly a flawless set up for a smaller stuntbike

My biggest problem would be that i'll probably mess one of them things up trying to get it dialed in for the track.I'm pretty sure my home brewed recipe's would not be applicable on this type of machine.bluelaugh

i know you would reguardless but just sayingwell i don't know what it offers.Like would it have a true motard racing setup? or a mini gp setup? It looks like a motard/street fighter to me.:dunno: They look have fullsize wheels also.
Sweet bike and all still!

problem there is your running a 125 4stroke against a 125 2, big diff in power there, and the 125 2 would not be allowed in most mini orgs.

naw fivestartwave_finger look closely at the exhaust, that is a 2 stroke, that silencer is right there under the bike sticking out the plastic on the bottom.thumbsup2
