I exchanged my Yamaha BWS 2005 against this Tomos Streetmate 2008

The 2 stroke 49cc engine is not very powerfull, the bike reaches painfully 60km/h, why I bought it then? because it's easy to modify.

I dont know wich engine i would buy but i dont have the motorcycle licence so i cant use a manual engine without risk, i'm thinking about the 110cc 3v auto or a modified 110cc auto to 140 150 or 160cc but i dont know wich kit will fit my engine.

Now i'm using my 110cc manual for the mod, i dont want to weld anything on the frame so i made 2 simple adaptor.

The rear wheel sprocket is for 415 chain so i will make an adaptor for the sprocket.

One big problem is the gas tank, they made the tank with the frame and the carb is over the valve, i tink i will have to lower the carb but i dont know if this would be a problem if the carb is beside the head, let me know.

enough talk, let me know what you think about this project.

i was wondering if the motor would hit the fender if you compressed the forks alot suddenly

It's close but it wont hit, tested with a strap-binder, maybe the 3v head would be too much but then i would tink about cutting the fender or buying a new fork.

well then you may be stuck with the 110
a 125cc motor is 6-8mm longer than stock

I wont be stuck with the 110 wave_finger, i could buy a longer fork or i could make another set of fork clamp to get the space needed.

If i can put a 110cc in my little pocketbike the tomos is like a practice.

changing the length of the fork or clamps will change how she handles.

I dont tink the lengh of the fork will change anything as long as the swing-arm is also raised.

All the crf50 with 14" front wheel got longer fork.

I need your help here.

My tomos sprocket is for 415 chain, i need a sprocket with the same bolt pattern but for 420 or 428 chain. Any idea?
