View Full Version : July Midbike of the month contest
btroxl
06-30-2009, 03:04 PM
The rules are easy
1) The first six entries per month are in the contest
2) Post up 1-5 pictures of your bike
3) Give a brief description of your bike
4) Definition of a mid bike is: Any motorcycle smaller than a
full sized bike, has suspension, and is intended for use on asphalt.
5) Once we have six entries I will put up a poll so everyone can vote for their favorite bike. The winner will be announced on the last day of the month.
6) Once you win, you can not re-enter the same bike

This is my second bike and it's not a street queen. Well she ain't a track queen yet either
X15 frame and swingarm
K2 Electronic Smart Shock on the rear. Read that as active suspension.
Up front Fancy Scooter USD forks and triples. No internal work yet. Just a home brew fork oil.
FZR 600 clip-ons.
Dual Thai Brembo front calipers using X18 Stock rotors. Stainless steel braided Galifer front brake lines.
YX150cc motor with a Keihin PWK-28 carb, IRK, oil cooler, and motor mounts drilled out to 3/8.
Hand built exhaust from the header to the tip of the pipe. The pipe is a X22 can gutted and modified by me.
X22 fairings painted a apple red with white number plates.

WOW!!!!
I don't think there is anything left untouched on that Xbike. Except for maybe the frame and swinger. Awesome job TNP!!!
You forgot to mention those sweet rear-sets and the steering damper.
Those brakes and forks are killer!!
If nothing else gets posted to out-do your bike, it's got my votethumbsup2

hows the slick in the front feel, nutty?
I heard a it feels weird and that most people use a regular street tire instead of a front slick.

07-11-2009, 06:56 AM
I'll let you know once I ride the damn thing banghead Although I can say this I haven't ridden the other tires enough to probably notice. And the X22 was already falling all over itself so this concoction has to be better...doesn't it speechless33
