this bike is an 08 x18 track bike, with complete custom frame wieight reduction done in house, port and polish intake, carb, exhaust. in house modded exh, everything was though of when we made this bike and tested it on the track at Raceway park in English town N.j. the bike did great! besides being so loud that you had to have ear plugs in when ridding it. we even passed some nsr 50's and even a nsr 250r. thanks again to M&R pocket bikes the bike is a show stoper and track killer

removing part of the sub-frame, dosent seem like too smart of an idea...

i spy, stock carb, stock tires, i dont see much 'track' in the bike, but it does make a decent SF.

looks like all show no go

+ cdi, custom exhaust, intake, and maybe a shock.

it looks great!

But as Five* pointed out, you guys should change out the stock tires, upgrade brakes, bigger carb. and upgrade to track suspension. Then you guys will sure kick some major moon1!

not so "all show no go" what your looking for is overpriced what everybodys got to look good on the track type parts. these are in house bare bones contender bike upgrades you dont have to buy what you need to go faster on the track. put the work in! we have plenty of customers and bikes in the shop that have the best parts money can buy, and they spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars and this bike can whip them on the track, not on a strait away i didnt say drag or speed bike, i said "track bike". and the tires? whats wrong with them? so far i havent seen any reason why you'd go and spend money on tires for only track . these stock tires when properly heated or set are just as fine as any other tire. if the tires were no good on the track they wouldnt be on the bike. and as for the frame this bike was built to fit one person all frame adjustments were taken into consideration and put the frame and bike through test after test, wheely after wheely, crash after crash. this is a full custom shop not a garage and we invite you to try this bike on the track or bring any bike you may have to run with this bike class the next time we are in englishtown nj raceway park. thank you for your reply.

It's great to see another shop out there producing and racing the xbikes.thumbsup2Great lookin bikes...

On the stock tires i think mabey the way the track is laid out.It might not require extreme lean angles so in some cases the (depending on the stock tires) stock tires might work for you.Iv'e done plenty of testing with the stock tires to find that they are to in-constistant.I had one stock tire that i ran so much it looked like a slick. When i went to the track it actually performed like one. Then when i had to replace it with another stock tire.Boy that was a whole other ball game.Iv'e went through quite a bunch of stock tires and they never was the same. Some of them were straight brick, and some was soft in the middle but when you went to take a turn.It was like being on ice, some had a higher crown and looked narrower(still had the same size on the side wall). Then some had a shallow crown and appeared to be wider.Either way i never had the same tire ever again.
Now the BIGGEST problem with the stocker was the front rim and tire.It gave the bike such an un-equal lean angle. That if your riding real hard you had to save the frontend from tucking with your knee almost constantly. The front rim is to wide for that tire so it stretches the tire.So you'll end up on the edge of the front tire long before you've reached the edge of the rear tire. Thus if your pushing real hard causing the frontend to tuck.
For the record if you put better tires on the bike a swear to you.You will leave yourself wondering how the heck was you riding the bike with stock tires before.

If you really want to see what your bikes can do.Come down to VIR this weekend.Either for the weekend or just for one day. They have 2 classes for the midbikes(aka Xbikes) 1. limited midbikes 2. open class midbikes.

Hey you guys gotta link to your shop? Also theres a new track in Nj.I think it's called the Dragon(um something like that)Infact theres gonna be a race there next month. The guys from XMR will be going and i think i'm gonna try to make it there. It's suppose to be a full weekend of racing. Let me know if your up for it and i'll get you more details.

sorry for sounding like a jerk, the bike looks nice, no disrespect, i'm just concerned about the frame mods, i really cant see that sub-frame holding together with a average sized guy on there runnin the bike on a track, but if you say it works, then i cant argue with that.

and once you put some decent tires on the bike, that will make you much quicker, i'm pretty sure everyone here will agree on that. better grip=more confidence=faster in turns (and it takes your mind of worrying about the tires slipping out from under ya)

i didnt even run slicks when i was on the track, and i was griding my pegs down, knee down, full lean, and didnt have any problems (using a stock rearshock too)

Hey whats up man. This is mike. Just so you guys know, both my partner and i respond when we can. So you will here from both of us posting the same profile. WE are here to learn. We are always looking for new ideas. All we can do is share what we have done and see what you guys think. Dont worry, we can handle negativity. I agree about the tires and the shock most inporant. We dont spend time on the track like you guys do, so our bikes are set up for all around riding. We would like to become more track friendly, but since english town screwing the pocket bikes around we havent been back. We only set the x18 fighter up for one spot. There wasnt enough track time to keep making adjusments. Besides, the go-karts left enough rubber on the track for our tires to hook up with. Thats why we never had a problem with our so called crappy tires. I also like your facts on the front tire/rim size. It definetly doesnt roll on the side evenly. But a set off balls can correct some of that problem and takes all the worry out about washing out on the street. (wouldnt be my first road rash LOL) We are looking foward to meeting you guys one day and learning some tricks on the track. For now we ride anywere we can with out getting arrested (haha) and continue to practice turning and freestlye tricks. As far as the frame goes, we have tested it wheelie after wheelie for almost a year and no stress. I weight 170 pounds and rich is about 135, so there you go. We are prepared to go down at any time, so for now we keep pushing the issue. No one should be afraid to try somthing new and if it fails you do another one right away. I thank you for your concern. talk to you soon- M&R

There is another track in NJ.If your interested i can find out more details for ya.I though english town was doing away with the pocketbikes(the real tiny ones)and only let midbikes and shifter bikes run on there track.I'll have t find the post and link it.There was a guy that posted up on one of the forums stating this.He also was trying to encourage the midbikers to come out to the track.

thumbsup2 - w/o good skillz. good aftermarket parts just makes the impending crashing more expensive n happen at a higher speed... sweet bike, w/ risers it would look kinda like a ducati monster bike.

Offer still stands guys. Im still not understanding why all these bikes are being built and never ridden. I am willing to make all the concessions in the world for any midbikes that show up. I just need you guys to SHOW UP. Only the XMR guys come and I gotta say they are unbeatable with the incredible bikes they build and how amazingly fast they race them.

Other than that there be street runners and keyboard warriors in this part of town!
