Looks like a fella could really open the throttle up with a layout like that.thumbsup2 Do you guys get other people out there too.That's a great practice spot.It beats the one i have to practice in by far.

Yeah we get going pretty fast. My Vapor reads about 60MPH in some spots. We do have other people that ride. Jason (Japonte27 MBN member) usually rides with us. His bike is torn down for paint/carbon/race prep. He is a BMS team member as well, pretty fast too.

Yeah i know what you mean. Just curbs, lucky most of the spots we ride at is pretty wide.

We have been waiting for a local kart track to open to minis. Team BMS is suppose to test it for mini bikes but every time we plan something happens, rain, flood, list goes on... But we are planning to go tuesday, hopefully it wont rain.

Here is one more. Its kinda funny. It has been rainng about 6 days straight here in Orlando. We saw a dirt road and decided to go for a ride... boy did we... Lets just say slicks, wet grass, carbon fiber, and cussing (bleeped) dont mix... But it was pretty funny at the time...

Last i checked it was still processing so the quality might not be the best. Give it another 15min and should be better.

Hey are you guys heading up to VIR for the races?????

Well today was a pretty cool day. Its not every day a track asks you to come out and test it for mini bikes. http://www.centralfloridaroadcourse.com/ has never had any motorcycles out. So it was pretty cool that we were the first. So TJ and myself headed out there. We were able to get 4 15-20 min sessions. We had a blast. The fastest lap record was a .49sec our first session my fastest lap was a 54.4 and TJ ran a 54.5.

Hey Shawn, I noticed you are doing the old Mick style of riding; ass first :D

I used to do that a lot, I started working hard at fixing it after I saw a short video of myself banghead

I would recommend trying not to get your ass off the seat so far, but worry more about your head shoulders. Get those way off the bike first and the ass will slowly follow. The chassis responds better and you can carry more corner speed without dragging parts.

Swheels, we will not be attending VIR unfortunately.... We have too much going on with our regular race season.

Sidewalk, Im usually an elbo out kinda guy when im racing the big bikes, but on the mini tard you have a completely different riders stance. Its extremely awkward to lean into the turn with my upper body. Some people can do it on the mini motards. I tried a whole session changing up my styles. Ass out works for me.... I can get the bike to handle to my liking. My last session i was getting very low 50s and was close to track record. Im doing something right. Our first race is the 14th of June, will be the moment of truth. I feel very confident that BMS will do well... I hope....
