Dude those things are the bomb! Even I was able to pull a small wheelie on one and I suck at it hahaha and I almost highsided, yes I said highsided playing around. The foot board dug in I leaned way way to far and it almost kicked me off....aaahhh good times:clap:

il have to see what my paycheck will say on the parts if its good enough ill be getting a teknigas pipe the big bore kit and conversion is ALOTE around 400 450 for the complete kit but summers get hot up here in maryland

also nutty i cant seem to pull wheelies on it..i almost did by trying but i wasnt able to do it it has nice lowend but without a expansion chamber this two stroke acts like a four stroke just smooth power

A guy at the moto shop round the corner, has one with the 75cc or 80cc kit? i forget, but with some mich. bopper tires. I passed him prior to a turn on my sport bike and wailed into a turn, stood it back up and he was right there in my rear view mirror(for a few seconds). LoL blew me away. nice buy man!

32 miles man that's cake for one of these. The only drawback would be if you have to hit the highway.

i dont like ruckus=[ there so much slower then the zumas but wind out around 2 to 3 mph slower stock a 50cc four stroke isnt the way to go imo

i will say it has a cool looking seat area

I like zuma's ''eyes''! But yea, I don't like scooters, but yea, my favorite at the moment is yamaha aerox!

X7rocks
05-09-2009, 10:39 AM
im trying to convert my engine into a aerox engine after VIR is done and over with there the same design and pretty much take the same parts its just the aerox is watercooled from the factory and is FAST stock

50cc, engine still stock.

these are not the stock light, they work well, not bright as the one i had but good enough for city use.

I HAVE TWO ZUMA'S ONE STOCK FOR THE WIFE SILVER JUST LIKE THE ONE YOU HAVE AND A BLUE ONE THAT WHEN I FRIST GOT THE BIKE WITH 6300 MILES ON IT WOULD RUN OUT AT 38 MHR SO I PUT A CLUCTH KIT , ROLLER KIT AND A LEANO VICES PIPE ON IT AND THEN THE BIKE TOP OUT AT 45 OR 48 MHR WOULD PEG THE SPEEDO ALL THE WAY DOWN ....THATS THE BEST I GOT WITH JUST BOLT ON STUFF WITH NO ENGINE MODS....WOKMASTER

ive ben thinking of getting a heavier spring and the malossi delta clutch for the zuma

X7rocks
11-28-2009, 07:36 AM
just a small update of the ride

athena/ stage6 pro exhuast midrange topend exhuast
malossi weights 4.4 grams torsion spring on the rear torgue drive with malossi 4,500 rpm enganging clutch springs
athena upgears and athena single ring big bore kit

if i want to make this into a road racer i need aerox wheels from europe (two pairs) with pirelli evo21 front 120/70 and pirelli evo22 130/60 for the street

and for the track heidenau racing slicks 130/60

these are for aerox wheels

and a malossi RS3 shock for the rear.front forks are out of the question only ones i found were stage6 front ends but for 490 dollars its a bit much

Still have this zuma, and so far parts that are ordered for it are the S6 R/T cylinder C21 Exhaust and a S6 overrange variator.

Power made from this cylinder is an expected 24 to 26 hp... i'll post pics of things to go.Scooter is going to be made for track.

Also does anyone know any places to get powdercoating done? I know XMR does it but after such a long time of being away from everything and having a new phone i lost there number :(

Blitz$M.Inc.$
03-17-2011, 04:42 PM
wow 26hp, last i saw you got less than 1hp out of a 300 dollar pipe
what cc is it? i raced a 40 open in ga with a good rider, it took me two laps to get past him

X7rocks
03-17-2011, 04:45 PM
The cylinder is what will be making most of the power Its a newly designed cylinder that has been breaking tons of lap times in europe so i thought this may be the perfect cylinder for me to try :)

It will still be around 70cc with a stroker i can have the cylinder displacement be 84, to even 90cc. but the power is only made around 13,000 rpms so a good full circle crank is needed banghead

Most pipes ( well i'd hope the good designed expansion style exhaust) usually make some good power but on a stock 50 they barely make any good power thumb_down

X7rocks
03-17-2011, 04:52 PM
Here is the picture of the cylinder, it should be here from over seas in about a week.

I also got a hold of European Aerox rims 50 cc versions with the rear disc brake, so i am also converting the yamaha zuma drum brakes into disc's

If you watch those guys overseas race these scooters. They are insainly fast for scooters. But if you really watch them, those guys reaaally have to keep their corner speeds up.The torque curve is not so great and can be frustrating when your racing on a tight track.
At dublin we walk away from the those euro(40cc/50cc open) pocketbikes. The track has some really tech turns and you have to string them together. Where the torgue from the 4stroke mids was unmatched through those turns.

The really good thing about the scooters. Is they have boat loads of upgrade for suspension and tires to get them going fast around the track. After you finish that motor i'd say get that suspension done up right if your serious about racing it at the track. Cuz though 24-26hp sounds good. It does nothing for you on the track if the rest of the bike is jacked up. I seen it with my own 2 eyes and couldn't believe it.bluelaugh Blitz know also.thumbsup2
GIT ER DUN! I hope to see at one of these races.thumbsup2

Scooter trans are made so they sustain the same power when hitting full throttle but i do see how turns can be an issue.

Scooter trans are made so they sustain the same power when hitting full throttle but i do see how turns can be an issue. If that's the case then they wouldn't be offering different weights for sale to improve performance. Any scooter that i've ridden i have always felt that lowend lag.

maybe you can come race the scooter crew

Scoots that have that lowend lag need higher tension clutch springs and possibly a stronger contrast spring to close the rear torque driver quicker.

Scooter crew? who are they??
I need to soon pick up a new headlight piece to cover it in bondo to make the changes so it does not have headlights (same goes for the tailights)

The aerox rims i've shown there are only for the street for the meantime, but will be replace with aprilia rally rims (also disc) as they are much lighter then the aerox 13 inch rims,

Nope no slippage. You'll see what i mean when you get that scooter together and race it. Infact i think tommy thunder run one of those kits on his race scooter. You can here it in the videos when they are racing at sandyhook.

Is this gonna be just a track scooter or a track/street scooter?
Either way look up tommy thunder and those guys. They race their scooters alot and i think you can give "THEM" a good run for the money.thumbsup2

Went and looked him up i like his handle bar set up alot, but so far with the Eye spy game ive noticed a polini exhaust oko 24mm carb and cylinder i think somewhere is a vertical minarelli engine, has to stay air cooled so a hot summer day can rob some power.

lol aero 125's are not that bad they are pretty good bikes and last along time.

lol aero 125's are not that bad they are pretty good bikes and last along time.Tommy's scooter is pretty quick! But to be honest i think it does better on a bigger track. On track like sandyhook, dublin, vir or Elgin it cannot beat a well built midbike. Ask me how i know.LOL Plus i hear the same lowend lag once the motor drop below a certain rpm range. And trust me i know he's got his scooter somewhat in order. After all that is his bread and butter scooters. He might lose what 1or2hp on a hot day.Either way it's hardly enough to notice on these little tracks we race on.thumbsup2

Just for tracks like this i may resort to stock gearing on the zuma, keep my right where the power is needed.
but i have seen one of his videos and saw the lag, something isn't right about his setup, i don't think he is running an over sized rear pulley or variator. i'm going to try and look his set up even more.

all i need to do now is prepare the motor cases itself for the cylinder, haven't received it yet, getting slightly worried.
