Does anyone see a problem with mounting the battery like this? If so I can modify the mount but looking for an easy way out if possible. The terminals are close but not touching the gas tank.

It is empty, thanks for the faith guys!!! It is a sealed battery and once charged can be mounted sideways. will the terminals cause any worries?

well it looks like you have an x18 and the battery in those are mounted up so what is your reasoning for mounting it on its side

It is a x-18 this is a larger battery, I can modify the mounts but looking for a short cut... want to make sure that it will not cause a fire.

How much bigger?
FIRE: just make sure the terminals are covered and protected!
