Check the coil next. If you have another one change it out. With electrical like this it's easier to work from the spark plug back. 1. change plug 2. change plug wire 3. change coil 4. change CDI of course you can only do this if you have other parts lying around. Anybody got a better way?

go w/ nutties daignostic, if that fails, put a volt meter on the different wires coming out of the case while having someone crank it, check for a signal. no signal the pickup might be bad, dont forget to disconnect the kill switch and try, i've had the kill s/w spring go bad, and the s/w was stuck closed.

I no the black ones are usually ground but the rest???? current

If it's a china quad .(Nutt is right). But before you do any of that.Theres a safety switch that usually have a black strap that's attached to like a rubber boot. What this is for is some sorta safety mech. The strap goes around the kids waist or something. So if the kid fell off the quad. The the strap will pull the plug and shut the quad off.Sometimes those switches goes bad or the plug is not on there good enough. Also check to make sure the wires coming off of that plug is plugged in.The plug is located at the rear you can't miss it.

Go buy a DVOM and message me if all the other folks stuff doesn't work. You can test all these circuits and identfy your exact problem with a multimeter.
