View Full Version : Cold X18
As most of you know, its still winter in Minnesota. Theres snow, and the weather is dreadful up here. My bike hasn't been starting up, is there a way to warm my bike up, or start it up in the cold weather?

yup, no coolant in the block, and oil is real hard to freeze, choke on and kick start(cold batteries dont work real well..) starter fluid if needed.
What if I don't have my kick start on? I took it off when I added a whole new piping and exhaust tip for my bike, the kick start and foot brakes were in the way, but the brakes work alright but I removed the kick start. When i try to electric start it, it makes this weird noise, and my horn doesnt work unless i touch it with my hands. I believe the battery is fine since my blinkers and lights work.

yeah seriously its dumb to remove the kickstarter.
It wasn't needed during the warm weather, it took a minute to put the kick start back on, but i tightened it too much the head of the screw broke off, so theres just the rod part of the screw stuck inside to keep it in place. But my bike starts up now with the kick start. Thanks guys.
