I am new to site and have a couple of friends on here. I was on pocketbikeplant but swheels states this is the place to be to learn more about my mid bike. As you can see from my pics I am building "Ronin" from scratch. Any high performance suggestions will be greatly appreciatedbows_smilie. As it stands this is what I have to rebuild:

YX Dirt Max 140cc power plant port & polished
23/27mm Big Valve Head (may uograde to 23.5/30mm after testing)
Head Breather kit
Billet head kit
Inner Rotor Kit with HP CDI (13k-14.5k revs)
27.5 OKO Carb with uni dual layer Hp airfilter and short intake
Billet oil pump with graded oil cooler
Big Bore Exhaust system with 1.5" moded pipe (hope it will scream)
Special front suspension with adjustable caps
Suggestiones needed on rear shock (dont want to mod to get it to fit)
suggestions needed for brake calipers (running 260-240mm wave rotors)
Stock 10" rim runnin 90/90/10 Fr & 120/70/10 rear -VeeRubber slicks
Stock triple clamp
Red anodized Posh Billet handlebars
Red Anodized Clutch and Front brake levers
#420 Renthal gold chain
#420 Race 16t front x 38t rear sprocke
Vapor Trail Tech computer
Suggestions needed for plastic (like to replicate swheels fairings but not make it look exactly like his, maybe like a crf 150)
Frame & Swingarm sanded primed and painted.

So that is it my project, it is coming together nicely and as I stated any other Hp suggestions would be greatly appreciated I seek to get about 16-17Horse Power when all is said and done.

Confused 125 block u mean the 23/27mm? I have the X19 frame stripped to nothing and building it up. But I hear the 23.5/30mm is the way to go if ur looking for another 2-3 HP. This is a true 140.10 not 138cc as most lifan engines come. Any suggestions about a rear shock the stock mono is 7.5" and I want an adj shock but do not wish to mod the cage or swingarm. What brake calipers are you running nice paint job with your wheels and muffler.

Cheers

CheersThe 140's are built from a 125cc block. The just put a bigger piston and cylinder to make it a 140cc.
email sent. You should post up your pics in your thread here.

oh I see blitz/swheels, I did not know they used a 125 block to house everything. swheels that carb is sick bro i dont know if that will even fit in my frame. How did you get the pipe to extend so far back? I think i may have to take the outside route( my muffler only measures 21" from the header to the exhaust tip) to getting my exhaust set. Where do you get the extra pipe for extension and did you weld the braket to you frame or bolt it onto your frame?

Cheers

CheersYou use electrical conduit or use some auto exhuast tubing.I used auto exhaust tubing. In fact the only parts i used from the original exhaust pipe. Was the beginning that bolted to the head and the end that goes to the can.

Hey dude your thread is in the classified section. Where do you want it moved to the Mid Bike Talk section or the Long Term Custom Build section? It's got to be moved to one or the other.

what did you say the diameter was of your exhaust pipe? I will go tomorrow and ge the length needed. Can u use the port head and piece weld it to a 2" diameter pipe? How does your muffler sound since we have the same one, is it throaty and deep?

thanks

i would like to see more pics of your bike .looks nice on that avatar.

a 125 based motor can get a good amount of hp from them you just have too do some work for them so most likely that 140 of yours will be good aslong as you put the right parts that will all add up to a powerhouse motor

well i have spoken with him a couple of times and i feel because of his special head work that the GP1 bike would be gapped out on the long straight aways given a better topend but my bike is wicked on torque and take offs so with a better mid range would be very competitive on a twisty track with short straight aways imp.. but he is the best machinest i seen in the last 1.5 years i have been interested in the sport.
