Thes are the ones I have on my bike, I don't use regular nuts. I use wingnuts with them not difficult to take off or put on IMO.

The first pic, I use those for the plastic to plastic mounting and the second picnI use those for mounting for the plastics to fram mounting or you could use all the same bolts

unless you are talking about these? http://store.58cycle.com/PhotoGallery.asp?ProductCode=Fastener+kit+D%2Dring +slip%2Don

The thing is in the hardware store there not known as body clips. If you look in the nuts and bolts section you should find them.I think they might be called cotter pins.(Don't quote me on this though)I know in the rc world there called body clips. Also can be refered to as hood clips i believe.
That would be a great idea actually.thinking_smilie

I can get them here if you can't find any...

Zues clips would be cool but would require special brakets welded or riveted to the frame along with mods to the body holes, wouldnt be a hard job and would look sweet, give the bike a real racey look...thumbsup2

I like the body clips better. You can use an existing screw cut it to length.Screw in where the normal body mount screw would go.Then drill a hole through the screw so that the clip can slide through.Bam!!!!! YUR DONE.thumbsup2 I'm gonna have to steal that one.One day.

You get them from Pepboys on the Help Parts aisle. Theyre called U-nuts and spring nuts..The fine threaded panhead screw is M6x1.0x1/2" and the spring nut for the smaller screw is #8 spring nut. They come in two pc packs.............Peace
