I'm looking to buy a cheap semi-automatic engine off ebay that would mount right up to my automatic x19 and perform a lot better.. the auto x19 tops out at around 30 and i was hoping to get up there and a semi auto would prolly be more faster since it has 4 gears rather than 1. main reason for the semi-auto is because i wouldn't have to buy a clutch or worry about hooking it up. I'm also looking to spend around $150 shipped and i want it to be brand new and the same reliability as my auto 110.
Note : i do not want to have to mod the motor or frame by any means of welding, fabrication, or whatever it may be. i would like a direct bolt-on
Thank U.

Just my opinion but semi-auto is a bad investment. It's a very jerky motor and will ruin parts a lot faster than you want to replace them. If you're smooth on shifting it might not be that big a deal, but if not be prepared to replace sprockets and chains. I know some guys won't agree with that and that's fine but I'm hard on stuff and know that semi-auto isn't forgiving to hamfisted riding twocents

okay then, what engine do you recommend that will bolt right up with no modification, run good, be around my price range, and include and clutch or would i have to buy that seperately? i'm really hoping to spend no more than 200 and would i need a new exhaust for my new engine or would the stock x19 dual exhaust bolt into it???

im one of the guys that dont really agree on the tearing up stuff part...i neutral drop my bike in every gear all the time and still have the stock chain and rear sprocket and never have messed with the engine or tranny but still i would recommend getting a manual if you know how to ride

if your gonna spend the money, you might as well get something that will make you happy
i would get the stock 4speed that comes with the manual bikes or get a bigger 125cc motor
you can get the stock 4sp from guys on here that have gone to a bigger motor, then you can still have estart
so you gotta buy a clutch perch and cable, no big deal
