I currently race a Blata Elite minimoto & ride a modified TZR250 but I realy want one of these midbikes. I usualy prefere better handling to faster speed, Are they safe for knee-down action? Are they tunable? Whats the fastest one? What has the best handling one? I race on a track near by where I live but I would want my midbike onroad. Thanks guys for any feedback... Peace.

Outta the box i'd say none of them are Real get right on and got to the track. The very first thing is to get rid of the rear shock. It's a true pogo stick and will scare the crap out of you going around a turn at high speeds.Second the tires, some of the tires are good and really sticky some are bricks. The biggest problem to add with that is theres no way to tell the difference between the stock tires.Until you mount them on your bike and try haulin around some turns. But theres quite a few different upgrades for tires so thats no big deal. Now if you want get a bike and turn into a track bike for cheap i'd say these little bikes are perfect for that.I love buying cheap crap and try to make it into something race worthy without spending tons of money into it.
On that note i chose the x18 cuase it had the hightest ride height. It was easier for me to lower the bike than to raise it.About it being the fastest well thats up for debate.Although iv'e drag raced some of the local kids when my bike was stock(except my exhaust).I wheelied past a couple of kids on there x15 and i had 75 to a 100lbs on them and took flight.Oh the wheelie came off the start and i just stayed in the throttle. If you could have seen the looks in there eyes.Priceless.speechless33But i'm not a drag racer that was a one time event.

I think that if the 15 & 18 have the same engine & box & are both road legal the 15 would probably be better for me but where can I compare them side to side? Both the 15 & 18 are road legal right? Are they reliable bikes?
