Would this sort of pipe work on an x18 with some modification? If so, what exactly would that look like? (Obviously welding involved)

Yes that would most definitely work with a little modding..probably shorten the muffler, add a bracket, and jet the carb and i would say your good to go!

honestly that pipe inlet looks too big for our pipes, what im saying is it looks like it wont slip on, it looks like itll slide over our pipes

ya but it wouldnt be that hard welding on the inlet piece.

i could see cutting a notch and flaring or tapering it down to size.....
