Most of the work on my custom build is already done. Now all that is left is mounting a muffler to quiet it down. My bike has a straight pipe that ends just below the footpeg.
I have a stock muffler gutted by 125ccCrazy. There shouldnt be any restriction problems with this muffler.

Let me know what you think and if you think i can mount the stock muffler on a bracket off the tail section. where can i find these brackets?

That pipe is pretty low to do an upswept with hangers off the seat area....... That pipe should have started it's bend further forward... The way it is now those hangers will be really long.... I'd suggest a pit bike headpipe and mod that into an upswept that is unless you want the muffler really low on the bike...just my twocents

The bike looks killer so far...nice work for sure..

hey 125 you say a pit bike pipe would be better to mod to do that upswept. can you point me in the right direction to where i can get one. id love to do that mod myself. i can bend the pipe and all just want to make sure the thing will fit my motor and all

I guess I should have said side exhaust and not upswept using the pitbike exhaust... The headpipe bends up and over the engine where it can be modded to run back and sweep up below the seat and tail section..

ive already invested in a low exhaust, so im kinda stuck there...
I like how rene's bike looks, do you think the bracket can hold the stock modded pipe u made for me?

would i have to match the same material to weld the extra bit it needs to reach? Also can i weld it on to the stock flange thats mounts to the muffler?
I think the material is stainless steel

let me get some more pics, ill be back in few

i bought conduit, 3 inch exhuast, and bent and welded the whole exhaust...the only thing that was reused was the x6 header with flange, and the x18 flange

its just summit racing 3 inch exhuast pipe, not sure on spefics but its not thick to be heavy

the smallest quanity of materials were atleast 4 feet of exhaust and 12 feet for conduit

thanks bro. im looking it up right now. oh how much lenght did you need to do your new exhaust that went under the engine and out the side under the rearset

you can buy that for about 10$ for 10 feet at LOWES or HOMEDEPOT. Take a look at my thread, i bought a pit bike exhaust on ebay for $23 and then bought a mounting bracket for $5 and now i just have to rebend and weld it to fit the sidepipe.

about 5 feet, and a big TIP on bending, weld caps on the ends with it full of sand.

the sand will keep form, heat up the backside of the inner bend you are trying to do.

its cake with 2 people twocents

haha, i live 3 blocks from school, but yea ive ridden it to work (at school) a few times.

just today i was riding it around the neighborhood for 10min and i get back home and this guy on a bike was following me. he says "you need an exhaust on that, if you ride again without one, i will call the cops"

hes right though, i just have a straight pipe now, i have to set my idle really high and i have no low end power.

i really want to get this muffler set up so i can get my license and legally ride in VA.
