how to remove fairings & how to change oil

hey guys im bout to buy the x18 from gkmoto.com. got a couple of questions before i buy this. how do u remove the fairings and how do i change the oil on this? banghead also what oil do i use when i first get the bike? what oil do i need after i break it in? and what do i need to do when i first get my bike? :confused: help would be greatly appreciated thumbsup2

well, mine from gk moto is gonna be here tomorrow and does anyone know how to install a vapor on an x 18 but keep the gear indicator?

You can just use the gear indicator, but you have to open up the speedo to isolate the wiring, If I remember right there is a wire you have to connect for it to power up. I will look when I get home, later.

a vapor is the best digital speedo EVER! cuz the stock one is crap, heres the link for the air filter too.

mine from gk is gonna b here tomorrow, doin all black gloss paint,red rims, ngk spark plug, k&n filter, white racing sponsor decals, vaor speedo and scorpion sideswipe exhaust, billet slider handlebars, gonna be sick ill pm u some pics at the end of it!

yes these bikes only go around 45-50 out the box. but with minimal mods it an haul. if you just put a ngk plug, 22mm carb, foam air filter you will get 60 out of it. get a smaller sproket for the rear and you could possibly get 65-67. also to the guy that said he is about to put a k&n filter on his, dont do it they suck, get a good foam filter and running just that filter is gonna lean the shit outta that bike. the stock carb wont keep up without rejetting. you might wanna go ahead and get that new carb too.

They never said that it will do 70;-they say it can go up to 70........

That means thats the fastset they say youll get a 110 all bad ass and nitroused out..........The fastest Ive gotten a 110 w/ mega engine work is 75-78.....And one time just before it was toast forever I got 80-82 .That was with a huge wetshot shot of juice and a Co2 intercooler spraybar customized a little to fit with a 2lb nitrous bottle to hold the co2 charge and added it to super spray cool my maxed out steel cylinder to keep it all together.....

Now Im up to an electric start model 125cc thats modified a lil.Its now running better specs than the 146cc AHP privateer motor that XMR puts out.....No juice and no CryO2 Kit and Im getting a tad under 90..........

hey cam2 i had a few questions about the vapor speedo u have. is that the motorcycle mount u have on it, is there anyway you can do a step by step with installing the vapor with the gear indicator on but taking the stock gauges completely off, how hard was it to do,does the motorcycle mount come with the speedo, does the bike go back to neutral when you turn it off?

so ur saying to get a 125cc engine? is it easy to install? how fast do you think it will go lol? do i have to get a piston/carb for this? i want to get this x18 but i want to make sure if its worth getting it. thumbsup2
