fairing combo for X-18

I would like to use the tail piece and gas tank cover off of a X-7 and the nose cowl and side fairings off of X-12. Do yall think it would match up ? Would it require alot of modding? How would it look?

I think it will look find. I was thinking of mixing and matching fairings too. I like the rear tail of the X12 better than the X22...that being said I also kind of like the X18 rear tail also.

that would look great. i have seen a bike with all x18 fairings and an x1 tail. that looked pretty good.

not sure how that would be done but IMO, the more people experiment, the more midbikes will get bigger. i happen to like the 18's rear fairing and not the 19''s.

I agree about that rear fairing. The 19's fish fins or wings just don't look quite right, I would go for the x18 on that one.
The front fairing of a x15 or x19 are nice, I like the beefy cat-eye look of the turn sigs on the 19.
As for the side body pieces, probably the x18......resembles more of the superbikes and the pieces blend together better, the x19 doesn't seem to do that but has lots of room for potentialthinking_smilie
