Is it possible? I just wanted to make sure, the lifan 140 uses the 14mm wristpin so it cannot use the "146BBK" but the "141BBK" should work. Do you guys know anything? If so this would be a great mod for the Lifan 140 engine..machinegun

They have no yet been proven over anything, to be honest there are not enough of those going around for anyone to give an opinion. As of now, the lifan 140 is still on top.

kevin you should have just asked me i know the answerwtf
Anyways, as far as the 140 vs 150 deal they both have their ups and downs, the 140 accepts a drop in bbk which will bring it up to a 158 where as the 150 motors need case machining to accept any bbk and the parts for the 150 also cost more but they DO have more potential.
Also, just so everyone knows we sell the gpx 150 motors for $575 including a carb kit, oil cooler kit, perf cdi & coil, kicker, shifter and all the other little goodies, this is much cheaper then sgr's pricerock2

id rather build a 125 but the one thing that makes that 140 great is that it has a 59mm stroke stock
this is 2 more than the 125 gpx
honestly i think that 150 gpx will have no ass due to the short stroke
the 140 gpx is better than that
so you may be right in the 140 lifan being next king
the bike manufacturers will decide

They have alerady decided, OGM and G2, the new hotshotz are using the lifan 140. While motovert and pitster are still using the jialing engines.
You are right, the GPX 150 would make a better motard engine then a MX engine. Plus the GPX engines are about $500 retail (we have em for $450 btw).
But does anyone know if the 57mm BBK will fit onto this?

I have a nice new Powroll 61.5 mm stroker crank with 14mm wristpin that would jump that 140 to approx 158cc....no case machining, you may have to run a thicker base or head gasket depending on the head.....$375 crank, I'll take $125 shipped
