plastics are ugly on a f2 plus it looks way better like this and frame sliders suck bcuz they break...its got a cage and it works alot better

bcuz i dont want a fixxer that will break the subframe when i scrape it and the frames are weak and a r6 sucks for stuntin plus yamamammy's suck period....

you can beat the crap out of a honda and it'll just say pick me up lets go

dats cool too....something else you could proly try to get it up is lower the air pressure til it looks flat but still has some air....i used to run mine so flat that it would roll off the rim when i turned to hard....makes it easier to balance and gives more acceleration bcuz it acts like more gearing


ps...everybody should start off with low air pressure to get used to being on 1

I haven't been around the site much this summer. I've been gone fighting fires, and basically cleaning up and riding my big Katana 600. I recovered the seats, fixed the broken plastic, painted it, new tires, and added a small tank bag to hold junk when the wife and I go riding. Been putting in a 250-450 mile rides at least once a week with the wife whenever I've been home.

Thanks, with only having a few days off here and there, and still trying to get in at least 1 ride when I was home, it took me a while to get it all finished. Waiting for some gold chrome Suzuki style S vinyl stickers for the tank still, but my friend should have those done sometime around the middle of this week. Then all I have left to do is drop the engine to either fix 2nd gear, or stuff a bigger engine in it.

heres a few updates on the bike...i think im diggin it...i might trim some more off the tail later but like my barber always says you can take more off but cant put it back on so ima let this settle with my thoughts and see how i like it...now i just gotta match the other side




ps... the reason i just didnt pop the tail on and roll with it stock is bcuz when i do staggered wheelies it holds your leg out from the rear pegs so i narrowed it up a little bit

heres the bike with the rattle can job..re-done the black and painted the wheels black and painted the bars white....spiffed it up a lil bit...now i need to get the motor mount fixed from where it broke in a minor crash bcuz of the crap design of the cage and ill be riding again....oh and got a deal on a brand new pilot road for a $100 bucks which is like $60 off rock2

rock2 good thing about the 600rr is it has the undertail exhaust that you can scrape...theres a few mods you can do that dont cost much money that will help out the twitchyness of it but still gonna be twitchy a little bit...what i mean by twitchy is when your at bp (balance point) doin slow stuff you will need good throttle and brake control bcuz the thottle is sensitive, this is just what i hear from most people with 600rr's....the higher you go with the sprocket the more it'll be twitchy but thats on every bike...my homie kills it on the 600rr

Lol, heres my bike(s). The black one is an '80 Suzuki GS450. Gramps gave me it to sell, i ended up fixing it and riding it as my first bike. Made rider training easy practicing on a 100lbs less bike then my own. But it came with ape hangers, freeway pegs....windscreen..huge.. luggage rack....saddle bags..uhh...blow forks,

The mess on the second pic is my '89 600 Ninja R!!! 800 dollas, it had straight SQUARE tires on it, been dropped twice, 25,000 miles, big ass dent in the gas tank, every panel cracked and tons of gay decals....

I took it all apart, Gas tank had rust in it, gummed up the carbs, new tires, tune up, flushed all fluids, rebuild controls, new clutchs, new cables, rebuild forks, new chain, sprockets, repaired plastics, repaired gas tank, coated inside, replaced hoses, painted panels in rattle can. And its still a piece of shit...you ever seen a retired ninja? 32,000 miles. But its a pretty bike, and it gets me to work everyday diving lanes of stuck traffic.

What gets me is people tell me nice bike...and im thinking its almost 20 yrs and painted with a spray can!

Wife started riding with me a lot this past summer, and told me she wanted me to get a different bike before next riding season begins. I had to take her from Oregon to Phoenix, AZ so she could attend her college graduation (online schooling), so decided to check Cycletrader online ot se what bikes were available down there in my price range. Found a nearly mint condition 1986 Yzmaha 700 fazer for $2500. Only had 9043 original miles on it, and still had the tires that were installed at the factory lol. I picked it up and went straight to a bike shop and got tires and a new battery, then had ot pull the carbs and clean out all the jets, since they were all pluged from sitting so long.Should be a lot more comfortable for us when we ride 2 up, and the extra 100cc gives it a little more low rpm torque than my 600 has, so should work great for cruising. Once I get a aftermarket exhaust on it it should also be a lot quicker than the Katana.

back with another big bike....f4i...its got all the fairings but everythings gettin painted flat black...notice vortex clip ons, cage, handbrake, and dented tank already on it...gettin a different cage before i put the fairings on it so i dont have extra cuts on my shizzle....cosmetically not so hott yet but mechanically its the hottness

here is my ride, i know its not much better built than our mids, its a china made enduro, 200cc 5 speed, tops about 75 or so, this is what it looked like when i first got it (my first bike) but after getting bored with it and sliding it across the road at about 70 or so, so now all the plastics are trashed, the front rim is slightly bent, but its still rideable, i might try to take it out later today, run down to the chicken place a few miles down the road, i gotta back road cuz its not legal. but my town is small, there are always tractors, 4 wheelers, and stuff all over the place.

heres a couple updates.....i glassed a few spots on the fairings and glassed some mounts/tabs for the headlight and upper....as you can see the headlight is on hoodpins i guess you would call them....next thing i wanna do is put the upper on zues fasteners so i can have the whole upper, headlight, and stay off within minutes and minor tools like a quarter for the zues fasteners and a allen head for the stay bolts



ps....yes the upper that i fixed to be perfect got cut so the vortex clip ons would clear lock to lock

Correct. Both knees down at the same time. (If the passenger's knees can reach without dragging hard parts).

Weight really isn't much of an issue unless you have a "bad" passenger - somebody who doesn't lean when you do, or worse tries to lean opposite of you going in to a turn.

And we do have a sidecar - it is just pocketbike sized (and powered).

It's a 2005 GSX-R750. I bought it in Late Sept, then rode it cros country from OR to FL, and up the the Gap in NC then back. Spent a month total on vacation and covered 8621 miles, it was great!!!

oh yea since the last post i installed the new FTI dual quad bracket on the rear and added the OMR subcage as you can see...now i dont have to worry about brakes or weak passenger peg brackets

eh im not worried about gettin paid for stuntin...it would be nice tho rock2 yea the stunt scene gets bigger and bigger. They have a new stunt show on versus that shows what the XDL stunt contest is all about and some behind the scenes stuff that you dont see when you watchin live at the stunt shows.

Figured id show the gf's gs550. She doesnt know it but the head is at the shop as we speak rock2 Had a bent valve and broken guide but charle southgate should be able to fixer up for me. We have also cut the bars off behind the shock mounts and made another seat for it to lose weight and gain power to weight ratio being this bike only has around 55 hp

aite well i traded the gs550 for the honda 125cc engine with harness and other stuff from the quad. Anyway i had this f4 sittin in the garage being parted out and the big stuff just didnt sell as quick as i wanted it to so its back together and lookin pretty good. Just got the RSC perch with the long lever rock2 Fiberglassed the stock headlight hole and decided to throw a fog light in for the dark return road at the drag strip, and we might ride this thing on the street thumbsup2


ps...the upper fairing was in 3 pieces and i didnt even know i had it. Gorilla glue then fiberglass reinforcement, bondo, and primer. I ended up throwin the short exhaust on the f4 (last pictured on my stunter). Its gonna be a sweet lookin f4. Lowering links are in and im waiting on the lowering strap for the front.

rear lowering links went on. Decided to use the lowest hole and go 3 1'2 inches lower in the rear. The strap should be here tomorrow or the next day so ill get a pic of it all installed and low. The cool thing about this link is i can raise it back up if i want in about 5 minutes bcuz it has 3 different holes for stock/1 1/2 or 3 1/2 down.

the strap came in yesterday so i went and got a couple longer bolts. I finally threw the rear master on bluelaugh btw leaving the rear master off is a good way to teach your gf how to use the front brakes.... motul brake fluid all the way around now.....ill get some pics here in a little bit after throwing the strap on

setting up the headlight today. After losing the stock light the upper didnt have anything to support it. I used aluminum straps bent and bolted to the upper. It doubles as a headlight mount too rock2 This thing is gonna be pretty cool. I missed a killer deal on a headlight, gauge, and upper stay for a f4i that would have been good for a swap banghead but shish happens cant win'm all....i forgot how much i liked working on bikes and bringn them back to sweetness

ughhh banghead cheap ace bulbs in both of the fog lights i had are blown. I guess i shoulda checked but i knew one of them was working before it got put up. It proly got thrown around/on while looking for something else on the parts shelf which f'd the element up banghead oh well on to the next one thumbsup2
